Finally, if you are a fan of road trips and would like to do some sightseeing while driving from Canada or the US, it can make quite an enjoyable experience.
Mazatlan is located on the main highway connecting Canada and the US with Central America and the road conditions on this highway are very good. Once you cross the US – Mexico border in Arizona, it will take you about 12 hours to get to Mazatlan. There are several tourist attractions that you can visit on the way and one of the most remarkable sites is the Copper Canyon which, according to some, is even more impressive than the breathtaking Grand Canyon in the US.
